Molkki is about the story of an ambitious, young and beautiful girl, Purvi, played by Priyal Mahajan. While Purvi dreams of achieving her goals of breaking the shackles of poverty and earning a name for herself, she is forced into an arranged marriage with the village head, Virender Pratap Singh (played by Amar Upadhyay), a widowed father of two and twice her age and, still in love with his dead wife. Soon, she discovers that she has been ?sold? by her father and is merely a clause for the inheritance of his uncle?s land. Will she stand up and fight for her dignity? Will her marital deal blossom into a loving relationship?
